Alessa Huerta, AMFT

Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #147072

Alessa is committed to creating judgment-free spaces where people feel invited to explore any part of their past, present, or future self.

She became a therapist to help individuals become the happiest, most empowered, and healed versions of themselves, playing a role in their transformative journey. Therapy, to her, offers a path to empowerment and confidence. Alessa earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Latino/a communities from Pepperdine University and has dedicated her career to providing therapy in both Spanish and English to underserved communities, including adults, young adults, the elderly, and children. She lives by the quote, “What you are not changing, you are choosing,” and finds joy in rewatching Modern Family for its comedic charm. A devoted dog lover, she shares her home with two small Shih Tzus, Sophy and Charlie. For self-care, she enjoys discovering new coffee shops and staying active through gym workouts and Pilates, where she finds clarity and peace of mind. In therapy, Alessa creates a space where clients can define their own stories, guiding them to bring their most authentic selves into their lives moving forward.
