General Inquiries

  • Getting started is simple. Contact our Admissions Coordinator, Mayra, at (818) 741-2906 to schedule your free consultation. During this 10-15 minute conversation, we'll discuss your therapeutic needs, available specialties, payment options, and insurance coverage. After your consultation, you'll complete our enrollment forms, which include important consent and privacy agreements.

  • Our administrative office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and Fridays, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Our therapists offer flexible scheduling and can accommodate early morning or evening appointments. We also have limited availability on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Yes! We provide telehealth services throughout California and offer in-person sessions at our two locations:

    • San Fernando Valley: 14500 Roscoe Blvd., Suite 400, Panorama City, CA 91402

    • Antelope Valley: 1601 West Avenue J #103, Lancaster, CA 93934 (new address)

    Both locations offer ample parking. While most of our sessions are conducted virtually, we do have limited availability for in-person services.

  • Your first session is an initial assessment where you'll get acquainted with your therapist. They'll ask questions to create a baseline for measuring your progress and discuss what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Together, you'll establish treatment goals and explore different approaches until you find what works best for you.

    • Initial Individual Assessments: 60 minutes

    • Initial Couples Assessments: 90 minutes

    • Initial Family Assessments: 120 minutes

    • Individual follow-up sessions: 45-55 minutes

    • Couples follow-up sessions: 75-90 minutes

    • Family follow-up sessions: 90 minutes

About Us

  • We're clinician-first, meaning we prioritize the well-being of our therapists because we believe that when therapists are well-supported, clients receive better care. We offer a community-based approach with individualized, warm, and empathetic care. Our practice is founded on the vision of creating a world where everyone belongs, and we're committed to empowering our clients to live their best lives.

  • Our team consists of licensed and associate therapists, including Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC). All our therapists have at least a master's degree and over 3,000 hours of supervised training. Many have specialized training in areas like trauma, couples therapy, and adolescent therapy.

  • Absolutely. We welcome clients from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space. We particularly focus on serving marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, and those who may not always feel reflected in traditional therapy spaces. Our team brings diverse experiences and cultural perspectives to ensure culturally responsive care.

  • We don't believe in cookie-cutter therapy. We get to know each client to create individualized treatment plans and goals. Our approach is authentic, warm, and empathetic. We use various evidence-based techniques to find the best approach for each person, always meeting you where you are and helping you get where you want to be.

  • Yes, we currently offer anger management groups and couples groups. We're working to expand our group offerings to provide more community-based treatment options.

  • Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) combines the therapeutic effects of ketamine with skilled mental health support. It can be helpful for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma-related symptoms. The process includes preparation sessions, medically supervised ketamine sessions, and integration therapy to help process the experience and apply insights to daily life.

  • Yes, we offer family therapy and work with children and families. We also have a contract with Early Head Start to provide 0-5 education and parenting support. Our founder has extensive experience in child and family work and provides supervision for associates in this area.

  • Yes, we have extensive experience in trauma recovery using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other trauma-informed approaches. We work with various types of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, childhood abuse, accidents, medical trauma, and ongoing relational trauma.

  • Absolutely. We provide affirming therapy that actively supports LGBTQ+ identities and experiences. Our approach includes understanding the impact of discrimination, providing informed care around coming out and transition, and creating therapeutic spaces where clients don't have to educate their therapist about their identity.

  • Yes, we specialize in teen therapy for ages 12-18. We welcome all teens, especially those from marginalized communities who may not feel reflected in traditional therapy spaces. Our teen-focused approach is centered on trust, connection, and respect, with therapy personalized to fit each teen's style and comfort level.

Fees & Insurance

  • Our session fees are:

    • Initial Individual Assessment: $200

    • Initial Couples Assessment: $250

    • Initial Family Assessment: $300

    • Individual follow-up sessions: $150

    • Couples follow-up sessions: $175

    • Family follow-up sessions: $200

    If you have insurance, your actual cost will depend on your benefits, deductibles, copays, or coinsurance. We also offer a limited sliding scale with our associate therapists, contact us to discuss this option.

  • We accept:

  • Insurance companies require us to diagnose one person and provide "family therapy" on their behalf, which creates a conflict of interest for our therapists. Insurance also limits sessions to 55 minutes, while our best practice approach provides 75-90 minute couples sessions and 90-minute family sessions with both partners/all family members as clients.

  • You must cancel your session with 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session cost. You can cancel or reschedule by contacting your therapist directly or leaving a message at our main line: (818) 741-2906. We understand that life happens and encourage you to contact our billing department to discuss any fees.

  • Yes, a credit card is required to collect copays, coinsurance, deductibles, or any fees per our cancellation policy. Your information is stored securely in our electronic health record system. If you don't have a credit card, please contact our office to discuss other payment methods.

  • Ketamine-Assisted Therapy is typically not covered by commercial insurance as it's a newer treatment approach. We partner with Journey Medical to provide medical support, and your therapist will be with you during dosage and integration sessions.

  • No, we do not prescribe medication. However, we collaborate with many psychiatrists and can provide referrals for medication evaluations when appropriate.
