Anahit Oksouzian, AMFT

Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #149869

Anahit is passionate about learning and staying informed about social, political, and psychological developments to enhance both her personal growth and effectiveness as a therapist.

She values connection and emotional intimacy, which led her to become a therapist in a society where meaningful connections are often overlooked. Anahit believes in fostering connections and helping individuals develop the skills necessary to nurture fulfilling relationships. Her passion for supporting others and offering empathy stems from her own experiences of receiving support during difficult times. Anahit views therapy as a path to healing and thriving, where clients can explore their inner worlds and grow. She holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California and gained hands-on experience during her internship at Counseling Partners of Los Angeles, working with children, teens, and parents. Anahit’s therapeutic approach is collaborative, combining psychoeducation and exploration of clients’ roots to understand who they are and what is important to them. She also values openness, transparency, and is committed to educating her clients about the science behind emotions and their impact on the body. Outside of therapy, she is a proud pet owner of five animals and has a quirky love for creating Pinterest boards for everything.
