Danielle Brim, APCC

Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #12441

Danielle is passionate about empowering clients to recognize their strengths and guiding them toward personal growth while working to change negative perceptions of mental health.

She became a therapist to help normalize mental health care and provide meaningful support to those in need. She believes therapy offers a path to healing, growth, empowerment, and self-discovery. With a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies from California State University, Channel Islands, and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University, Danielle has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families within the foster care system. She specializes in crisis intervention techniques such as safety planning, de-escalation, and harm reduction, and incorporates therapeutic approaches like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Inspired by Maya Angelou’s words, “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them,” Danielle brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. Outside of her work, she enjoys watching Girlfriends for its relatable characters, spending time with her two Chow dogs, Smokey and Bella—who love stealing snacks—and embracing the fun chaos of being the second youngest of seven siblings, all with names starting with "D." What makes therapy with Danielle special is her ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported throughout their mental health journey.
