If any of this feels familiar, you're in the right place:

  • You wake up tired no matter how much you sleep. Your mind races at night with worries you can't turn off. You've pulled away from people you care about because everything feels like too much. Some days, getting through work takes everything you've got, and there's nothing left after. You keep telling yourself you should be able to handle this, but it's not getting better on its own.

  • You've probably tried pushing through, staying busy, or telling yourself it's just a rough patch. But that heaviness in your chest and that constant hum of worry aren't going away. That's not a sign that something is wrong with you. It's a sign you need support, and that takes courage, not weakness.

Here's How Things Start to Change

Start sleeping through the night again.

We'll work on the racing thoughts and physical tension that keep you wired at bedtime, so rest actually feels restful.

Get your energy and motivation back.

Depression drains you. Our therapists help you rebuild your daily life piece by piece, starting with small steps that actually stick.

Feel like yourself in your relationships again.

When depression and anxiety pull you inward, your connections suffer. Therapy helps you show up for the people who matter to you.

Quiet the worry that won't stop.

Anxiety isn't something you need to "think your way out of." We use proven approaches like CBT and EMDR to calm your nervous system at the root, not just the surface.

Build tools you'll actually use.

No worksheets that collect dust. We help you develop real strategies for the real moments when anxiety or depression hits hardest.

Meet Your Therapist

Patricia Alba, LCSW

Founder, Alba Wellness Group

Patricia started Alba Wellness Group after watching her own father struggle with PTSD without the support he deserved.

That experience shaped everything about how this practice works, with real compassion, not clinical distance. She specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, and LGBTQ+ affirming care, and she's built a team of 20+ therapists who share her belief that healing happens through honest, human connection.

Using evidence-based approaches like EMDR and trauma-informed therapy, Patricia and her team get to the root of what's keeping you stuck, not just manage the symptoms.

Bilingual: English & Spanish

Our team includes 20+ licensed therapists specializing in depression and anxiety treatment across our Panorama City and Lancaster offices.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Individual therapy sessions are $150 per session (45–55 minutes), with an initial assessment at $200 (60 minutes). We accept United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, Oscar, Medicare, and Medi-Cal. We'll verify your specific benefits during your free consultation so you know exactly what to expect before your first session.

  • Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential and protected by law (HIPAA). Your therapist cannot share what you discuss without your written permission, with very limited exceptions required by California law (imminent danger to yourself or others, or suspected child/elder abuse). Your privacy is something we take seriously; it's the foundation of the work.

  • That's more common than you'd think, and it doesn't mean therapy doesn't work for you. It often means the approach or the fit wasn't right. We'll talk about what didn't work before and try a different path. Our therapists are trained in multiple evidence-based approaches, including CBT, EMDR, and ACT, so we have options. Still not sure? [Schedule a free 15-minute call](/contact) and we'll talk it through, no commitment.

  • There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people feel meaningful improvement in 8–12 sessions. Others benefit from longer-term support, especially if depression or anxiety has been part of their life for years. We'll check in regularly on your progress and adjust as we go; you're never locked into a set number of sessions.

Still unsure? Schedule a free call, no commitment.

  • Your first session is really just a conversation. Your therapist will ask about what brought you in, what you're experiencing, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. There's no pressure to share everything at once. Think of it as a getting-to-know-you meeting, we're figuring out together whether this is a good fit and what direction might help the most.

You deserve more than just getting through the day.
