Taylor Hankinson, APCC

Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #18085

Taylor is passionate about partnering with others to create lasting and meaningful change in their lives.

After feeling lost in his early 20s, working with a therapist helped him understand his own disconnect and realize that becoming a therapist was the perfect way to blend his passion for helping others with his natural abilities. He believes therapy offers a path to healing, progress, and a deeper understanding of both self and others. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology-Math from UC Davis and six years of experience as a high school math teacher, Taylor later earned his Master’s degree in counseling psychology from Cal Baptist University. He brings a unique ability to recognize authenticity in others and gently challenges clients to be honest with themselves, ensuring that therapy leads to real, transformative change. Outside of therapy, Taylor enjoys playing guitar, playing basketball, and spending time with his Golden Retriever, Gus. A fan of The West Wing for its political depth and Breaking Bad for its raw storytelling, he is always drawn to narratives that explore the complexities of human nature. Guided by the quote, “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” Taylor approaches therapy with honesty, empathy, and a commitment to helping others grow.
