Christine Stark, ASW

Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker #123770

Christine is passionate about helping people find hope and joy, even in the most challenging situations, drawing from her own experiences of overcoming obstacles with the support of a few kind individuals.

She believes therapy offers a path to healing and hope and strives to be that guiding presence for her clients. Christine began her journey with a bachelor's degree in communications, working in media at KBAK in Bakersfield and KABC in Los Angeles, before discovering her true passion in social services while completing her master's in public administration. This realization led her to earn a master's in social work from California State University, Bakersfield. She has worked extensively with clients with physical disabilities and joined Alba Wellness Group in 2024 to broaden her practice. Outside of therapy, Christine enjoys community theater, a passion nurtured during her undergraduate studies in Theater, and spending time with her dog, Chip, lovingly named by her daughter for his resemblance to a potato as a puppy. A lover of books and relatable TV shows like Shrinking, Christine brings warmth, life experience, and an accepting spirit to her therapeutic approach, creating a unique and supportive space for her clients.
