Virginia Moreno, LMFT

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #45231

Virginia is endlessly curious about life at every stage and finds deep fulfillment in learning alongside her clients as they grow and transform.

She originally planned to become a private investigator, but after taking a psychology class, she discovered her true calling—helping people through their personal evolution. Her path to therapy became clear after working with high school students for over a decade, where she often found herself listening as they opened up about challenges with family, friendships, identity, and relationships. She loved guiding them in finding the words to express their needs, even when it felt scary. That connection—especially with teens and their parents—sparked her decision to change her major and pursue the beautiful journey of becoming a therapist. Virginia’s favorite quote is “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” by Winston Churchill, and her favorite book is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch, a touching story about the evolving bond between mother and son. She shares her home with a mischievous Siberian husky named Brandy, named after her habit of stealing apples from the table—just like the fruit Brandy is made from. A unique quirk of hers: she plays the harmonica while stuck in traffic on the 405 Southbound. What makes therapy with Virginia special is her ability to be fully present, holding space one hour at a time for whatever shows up, with compassion, curiosity, and care.
